FULL SERVICE DESIGN
Together, we will design a home that reflects your personality and style interwoven with our signature JK Interiors aesthetic. Our approach of “full service design” simply means that we are involved in both the construction phase and the decor phase. We initially focus on floor plan review and input, material finish selections such as flooring, cabinetry design, paint colors, tile selections, lighting plan and fixtures, plumbing selections, and millwork input. We then move to the decor phase where we share room design boards that include floor coverings, lighting, furnishings, wallcoverings, art, and accessories.
The benefit of a full service design team includes collaboration with the builder/architect, consideration of every surface and finish, designs to reflect functionality and lifestyle choices, and sourcing ease with our network of tradespeople, vendors and receiving warehouses, and finally pricing guidance as we know where to save and splurge and source accordingly. We plan site visits around several key milestones and the entire process culminates in one or more installation days of furnishings and styling of accessories!

In-Home Styling Service
Have you ever wished that the JK Shoppe could come to your home and give your space a refresh? If you live in the Columbus area, we can do just that! JK stylists will pull a selection of decor for purchase, including accessories, rugs, accent furniture, and artwork. Everything will be placed and styled by our stylists in your home! Each product is priced individually for purchase to be decided by the homeowner.
Virtual Consultations
Not in the Columbus area? You can book personal virtual consultations with Jennifer or a member of our team! You’ll connect via Zoom with one of our designers and they will offer insight into your specific design needs, such as design and product suggestions, furniture layout, pieces to keep or purchase, finishes, paint and/or wall coverings, lighting placement, flooring, and more!

DESIGN CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT
Intended for clients who have most of their furnishings in place, but need help from an expert in taking their project to the finish line with selections of decorative details and accent furniture from our Shoppe to tie their room(s) together and bring their vision to life. This service is ideal for clients who don’t need a full room(s) designed, but need help evaluating our product and which pieces will work best to round out their space(s) before purchasing. You can book your appointment for our Design Concierge services using the link below!

OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
The design process can be overwhelming, so we take our role as leaders in this journey as seriously as our creative vision. No matter your stage in life or the size of your project, we are committed to guiding you through the process with confidence and understanding. Our job is to make you excited and at ease every step of the way, whether it’s a full scale remodel or a simple makeover. We work on both residential and commercial projects ranging from furnishing/decorative jobs to large-scale renovations and new construction. You name it, we’ve done it!
We pride ourselves on being a full-service interior design studio that is collaborative, responsive and a true partner in the process. We have a proven portfolio of relationships and projects that showcase our ability to not only create beautiful spaces, but work seamlessly with architects, builders and tradespeople. From selecting architectural details and finishes, to designing a functional, beautiful space with furniture, fabrics and decor, we are here to bring your dream to life with our JK Design touch. We have garnered a reputation for creating beautiful, timeless spaces that have an inherently relaxed, coastal-inspired aesthetic.
While we are based in Central Ohio, we partner with clients all over the country using a combination of modern tools and technologies and have had great success working on out-of-area homes.
OUR PROCESS
Phase One
CONSULTATION
Our first step is to set up a design consultation in your home, office, or commercial space, which typically lasts 1-hour at an investment of $175. This service will allow us to address the specific project you have in mind, allowing me to obtain a clear idea of your home value update. I can then proceed by creating a detailed list, decorating quotes, and inspirational photos of ideas we discussed during our initial meeting.
Once your questionnaire has been submitted your consultation will be scheduled for your desired service, our team will meet you at your home or via video conference (depending on the service selected) to discuss the details of your design needs and determine how we can help bring your vision to life. Our team will be in touch to confirm the consultation and request any additional information needed in advance.
Phase Two
DESIGN CONCEPTS
Once we have all information needed including floor plans, inspiration photos, Pinterest boards, budget, etc. we will schedule a design kick off meeting with you to discuss your preferences and goals for the design. From there, we start with the layout and design direction. Then, we bring the layout to life with design boards and renderings that include options for color palettes, furnishings, finishings, fixtures, etc. (depending on what’s needed). It is important to us that before selecting materials and purchasing everyone is collectively aligned on an approved concept for every space we’re designing.
Phase Three
DETAILS
Once a design concept is approved, we detail out the design and pull together finalized quotes for your approval. This includes specification of furnishing/decor and selecting the construction materials that bring the approved design to life. This could include sourcing and purchasing fixtures, flooring, slabs, paint, furniture, lighting, window treatments, appliances, etc. To ensure all projects are executed as intended, we purchase and make arrangements for all materials associated with the design on your behalf by partnering with a host of trusted vendor partners. Upon the completion of this phase of work, our team will be ready to prepare for construction and/or final install (if applicable).
Phase Four
EXECUTION
Once all details are finalized and all items are ordered, our team will begin executing all aspects of the installation and final styling. On renovation or new construction jobs, this will include overall construction project management and coordination with your contractor. Rather than piecemeal installations as items deliver, we schedule a day (or multiple days depending on project scale) to have our team execute the install and transform your space all at once for a grand reveal.
