Meet Jennifer Kemp

Founder & Owner / Designer

Jennifer has been designing interiors for residential and commercial spaces since the age of 18. In 2015 she founded JK Design & Consulting with a vision of creating inspired spaces, products, and experiences that encourage people to live deeply in each moment through clean, natural, and functional design. Prior to JK Design & Consulting, Jennifer designed for successful corporations in Miami, FL; New Albany, OH and Los Angeles, CA.

Jennifer brings this unwavering entrepreneurial spirit to JK Design & Consulting, allowing the business to accelerate its growth through creativity, strategic risk-taking, hard work and articulate vision. Founded on the philosophy that the home is the foundation for life, JK Design & Consulting is committed to creating beautiful, yet functional family-friendly spaces, where life’s best moments happen.

• E-Design: Remote design services done through email and video communication.
• Designer-for-a-Day: One-time in-home consultation lasting usually from 4-6 hours.
• Design Only: In-person services, client does own purchasing and project management.
• Color Consultations: In-home consultation focused on paint and color only for interior or exterior. Time and deliverables can vary widely.
• Finish Selections: Help clients decide on home finishes only such as flooring, tile, wood finishes, paint.
• Holiday Decorating: Help clients decorate for holidays. Can be as simple as staging what clients already own, purchasing new items, or as comprehensive as providing rented elaborate inside and out decorating or cataloging their collection of decor.
• Renderings: Provide clients with 3D visuals of finished spaces
• Styling: Provide clients with an in-home shoppable styling experience.
